ClareClare has been a birth and postnatal doula for nearly 15 years, initially training with Denise Love and a few years later with Renee Adair at the Australian Doula College.  The mix in spiritual and theoretical training helping her become a well-rounded doula with a passion for birth as a sacred rite of passage.

As a reflexologist, certified nutrition coach and childbirth educator, Clare believes that when parents are supported and informed, they become empowered to make confident choices during pregnancy, birth and parenting. In her experience, this enables parents to feel content with their births, no matter how their birth journey unfolds.

Until recently, Clare also worked as the Doula Services Manager and as a senior educator at the ADC where she had the privilege of passing on her knowledge to new doulas.  It was in this role that Clare realised mentoring was vital for newly trained doulas. It is an area in which she is passionate.

Clare lives with her 2 children in Sydney’s inner west and she believes well trained,  and supported doulas are a necessity and an asset to the birthing community.  She looks forward to working with you!
